- First and last name
- City and state (or country) you live in
- Make, model, and year of car or truck
- List of major modifications (10-15 items)
- High resolution images of your vehicle (5-8 images total)
- Compelling story on you and your vehicle (200-250 words for a 1/2 page Behind the Wheel entry, 500-600 words for a full page submission);

- Take great photos or hire a professional. Read online articles on how to take great car pictures. Wonderful photos up your chances of getting into the magazine considerably. Click here for a great how-to-photograph-cars article.
- Take your time to write a good, interesting story. Include fun/scary/learning experiences, not just a laundry list of modifications. Don't be afraid to talk about yourself. Readers want to know the person behind the featured ride.
- Even if you own a beater or an all-stock car or truck, great pics and a great story trump a mint-condition highly modified vehicle with no story to tell.
