28 Dynamic Duo: Performance Becomes Style

When Mike Lee decided to play with his turbocharged peer group, he knew his Nissan 240SX would be a willing companion. The S13 chassis was capable of handling much more power, and Lee spent years developing it. Long before off-the-shelf FI kits were available, Lee took the time and effort to get crazy horsepower out of his KA. His lessons learned (including the specs on this beautiful 240SX) resulted in a car that can melt the tires off the line and run with the best of ‘em. The second car detailed in Lee’s collection is a gorgeous Silverstone 350Z, a car which marked the revival of the Z lineage. Lee took the same approach to develop the turbocharged version of the VQ35DE, but he also wanted a car that could run hard all day and yet be streetable enough that he could use it to take a date out at night. Together, Lee's 240SX and 350Z meet the definition of “clean and fast” in almost every aspect of the automotive lexicon.
